Pastor Edith Carlin and the Ladies Ministry of Glory of God Worship Center invite you to Come Away and rekindle your passion for the Lord.
Our goal is to provide a convenient place where you can draw aside to reconnect to the Lord through prayer, the Word and the Spirit. This Retreat is designed to stir up a holy fire that you can take back to your home church and be a great blessing!
The Retreat starts with registration on Thursday evening March 13th at 5:30 pm and concludes on Saturday March 15th around lunchtime. You’ll only need to take off 1 day of work on Friday, you’ll be home on Saturday afternoon and in your home church on Sunday morning.
The Retreat will be held at Camp Istrouma Retreat Center (campistrouma.com) located 10 miles northeast of Baton Rouge. One of the most outstanding features of the camp grounds are the miles of beautifully marked nature trails along Sandy Creek with its bluffs and beaches.
You’ll be staying in a climate controlled lodge that sleeps 16 people per bedroom. This is a camp - so bring your sleeping bag, a friend or two and your comfy clothes. Leave your “church clothes” at home! This is a time to focus on the inside - not the outside. You know you need some time away - so why don’t you make plans right now to attend!
