Kenya is really on our hearts right now. We have been connected with Christ Miracle Gospel Ministry and Bishop Alex Ouma Ouwoth for over 3 years now. We’re very concerned about the tribal violence and the current political climate. Because of the danger and the uncertainty many have been driven from the homes and are living wherever they can find refuge. Bishop Alex has approximately 3000 refugees that he is feeding and caring for at his ministry headquarters.

That is a tremendous burden to a ministry that already lived day to day by faith. This need has caused us to muster the troops and do what we can to help. As of February 2008, GOGWC has sent $4500 and has been actively encouraging other ministries to join their hands and their hearts with our Kenyan brethren.

Please pray for peace in Kenya. It was the most stable democracy in Africa and also the most “christianized” nation as well. God has opened a wonderful door for us to help teach the pastors and leaders so that they can in turn make disciples.

Pastor Cary has made 3 trips there and this past year Pastor Edith along with Assoc. Pastor Nancy Campbell and Minister John Abner went as a team and ministered in 4 cities. We know that God has called us there and we believe that there will be peace and also revival in the nation of Kenya.
